Our ethos is simple, to provide accessible, premium Podiatry and Foot Care to the people and families of Cheshire within a welcoming clinical environment.
The Bridge Podiatry Clinic was established by Fenella Lipkin in 2002 in response to a need for the provision of quality private chiropody and podiatry services in South Warrington and Cheshire. The philosophy of the clinic is to achieve the highest standards of foot health for all the family. We provide safe and clinically effective treatment in a friendly, professional and caring way. We are a forward thinking practice and use up to date effective technology to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. We have close working relationships with health professionals across Warrington and operate a referral system amongst colleagues within the medical team.
Fenella, together with her associates, are all members of the HCPC and Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists which is a recognition of the Degree standard level in Podiatry to which they have been educated.
All Podiatrists have extensive experience of working within the NHS as well as working in private practice in the UK and abroad which allows them to adopt the best working practices.
Our podiatrists keep up to date on the latest footcare developments and can advise on current thinking in the podiatry world. Our practice believes in continual learning and development and provides mentorship for undergraduate podiatry students.
MEET THE TEAM
Fenella is the Clinical Director of the Bridge Podiatry Clinic.
She graduated from New College, Durham in 1983 and holds a degree in Podiatry and also holds an adult teaching certificate.
Fenella has worked in the UK and in Australia both for the NHS and private practice for over thirty years, setting up a clinic in Warrington in 1988 and subsequently establishing the Bridge Podiatry Clinic clinic in 2002.
She has developed a reputation for high professional standards, attention to detail and a caring, effective manner. She still sees many patients from her early days in Warrington.
She particularly enjoys treating a cross section of age groups as each can bring their own foot problems.
Her free time has been spent volunteering for a medical charity since 1999 and she enjoys looking after her animals, travelling and trying to become more knowledgeable about gardening!
“I love being a Podiatrist as it enables me to provide, often immediate, relief to our patients.”
Donna provides holistic care with the aim to enable people to pursue their activities and hobbies, maintaining an overall high quality of living.
Podiatry is Donna’s second career, gaining a First-Class Honours Batchelor of Science in Podiatry at Salford University. Prior to retraining, Donna has over 10 years’ experience working within NHS Community Care and the Nursing Team.
Outside of work, Donna is a mum of two, a passionate gardener, avid reader and keen craftswoman.
Shaquille is an HCPC Registered Podiatrist and is a graduate of the University of Salford. He is very friendly, approachable and is always willing to go that extra mile to help people improve their foot health.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of Podiatry, Shaquille has a particular interest in biomechanics and assessing gait analysis and foot function. We know as Podiatrists that any difficulties in foot function may lead to the foot compensating to alleviate these problems.
Prior to Podiatry, Shaquille has played football for most of his life and used to play for Manchester United Football Club Academy and Rochdale Youth Team. His hobbies include playing football, going to the gym and he also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Britt is our welcoming receptionist and administration assistant.
Her mission is to cheerfully make a difference to everyone’s day!
Britt loves it when the phone rings to enable us all to deliver a first-class podiatry service and help people with foot problems.
Her aim is to develop strong bonds with all our patients and make them feel comfortable in our clinic.
During her spare time, Britt enjoys gardening, cycling and talking with her family and friends.
