Podiatry / Chiropody
At present the terms Chiropodist and Podiatrist are interchangeable. The term podiatry is now more widely used. Podiatrists are trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate problems of the lower limb to include general maintenance and wellbeing of the feet.
Modern podiatry developments recognise that footcare is not just about treating a specific injury or problem. Your feet can tell much about your general wellbeing and a regular check up is an essential part of looking after your health. So whether you are keen at sports, want to keep fit and active or are concerned about your foot health we can help you with regular foot health checks as well as recommending specific products that will help you maintain good foot health.
We love to meet new feet and to decide a treatment programme together. Your feet are so important- let us help you to look after them!
We aim to make YOUR feet your best asset as we think that they are the most important of the body. We believe that foot health education is an integral element in the effective treatment of your feet. We always combine your treatment with practical information on how to maintain your feet in great condition.
We offer regular general checkups for all our patients where we give you the time to discuss any concerns that you may have, for us to offer helpful advice about any concerns you may have and potentially spot an issue before it becomes a problem.
